The Turner Classic Movie (TCM) channel is showing 72 hours of war movies this Memorial Day weekend. 36 films in all. Check your local listings, or go here:

Thanks for the heads up Donny....there are a number there I definitely need to record on my DVR....then I just need to figure out how to burn them to DVD.

"Objective Burma" is a good one, Errol Flynn does a great job.

Thanks for the heads up. "The Fighting Sullivans" is the one I want to see again, about the Sullivan brothers from right here in Waterloo, IA. They lived on E 4th Street, in the area now know as Sullivan Park.

The Ken Burns documentary, The War, had a little part in it about the Sullivans. They screwed that up so bad that it soured me on the rest of the documentary. If they got the easy to find facts on the Sullivans wrong, what else did they miss.

I have that movie. When I was working a gig in Des Moines... I rented a car and drove up there to see Waterloo IA myself. :medals:
