Anybody know of any good MiG-21 Fishbeds available for FSX - whether it's payware of freeware?

Are there any in the works anywhere?

I've downloaded a couple of freeware examples, but I think they were port overs and left me wanting more.

Nope..no decent soviet made aircrafts for FSX yet..The CptSim sold out long ago and has in the works a B52 aimed at supposedly fatter capitalistic wallets.:kilroy:

We have one that is very close to being ready for FSX... all we need is someone to do the coding... (and the gauges and the back end... etc etc)

I'd love to see more soviet planes, Su-25, Su-22, MiG-29, or even An-2 :D

We've got a Mig-29C and a Su-33MKI that are in the same boat as the Mig-21... Oh, and did I forget to mention the Mig-15? All FSX capabable with a bit of work on our (and "your") part(s)... And a total revamp of our Tu-22B Blinder for FSX that's looking sweeeet!

So many models and so little time during the day...

Yes, your right about the time thing.. Any chance for a two seater Mig-29 ? It has a such nicer shaped fuselage than the single seat version.
Do you have some WIP shots for all those wonders ? Pls!

we're not intending to do a two seater Mig-29.

if you want to see the planes, go here: www.milviz.com there are a lot of pics that, sadly, don't do the models justice.

I wish I could post pics so I could show you pics of my alphasim Tu-22. It's nearly photoreal and is a challenge to fly.

Uh... the AS Tu22B is made by me... and painted by me... and the one I have is the high rez version. The one from AS is the FS9 port to FSX.

A long term dream of mine is having some of the late LSK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_German_Air_Force) aircraft (EGAF), like the MiG-29A, MiG-21bisSAU/LASUR, MiG-23ML or Su-22M4 in FSX.

But it's still a loooooooooooong time till I can tackle those projects, if at all.

Would a "cheap Chinese knock off" do for now?

Certainly! Looks more like a 'knock off' Su-15, rather than the MiG-21, but still nice all the same.
