I'm putting my money on the Ju 388J, perhaps -3 at that. Might be hopelessly wrong though...

Yep, looks like a Ju388 Stortebeker.

Nice!

Yes it is a Ju388 J-1, the Germans only had one or two in trials/operation. I just love the Ju 88 series and had to make this one.

As with all Jux88's it is a pleasure to fly, fast, and deadly.

So long as it doesn't fall to bits as easily as the stock 88
;)

Are you talking about the Ju88's that came with CFS3?

Nice one Ted! What's the story on those rear guns, are they radar guided? Late on in the war bomber command were trialling such developments, wondered if the LW were doing the same?

Keep up the wonderful work! :applause:

The rear guns were controlled by the use of a joy stick under the radio operator's command. The plane had two periscopes that were used to cover the upper and lower areas of the plane. They had versions were the rear gun was a manned station, but this was dropped in favor of this remote controlled version.

Great website on this series

Somewhat like the Me 410's side guns then.
