To all,

As I understand it, the restoration is nearly complete. I need people to comb through the CFS2 downloads and look for what is missing. Make a list of the file names here.

For the other group, let's comb through our files and upload the missing files.

I uploaded the Beau TFX and the J6K1 twice. Once before and once after the crash but they still haven't appeared yet . . .

Notice from Douglas: "The FSX section is complete and working, FS2004 is being uploaded, CFS1/2 and 3 are uploaded BUT Ickie's backup was done last September so the files from Sept to present will be missing until i make them good from my backup."

The files in the SCENERY section are still down. I tried the DEM8 files (01-22), CC-BASES.zip, the LOD7 files (01-18), Eurw_Thames_river_extension.zip and Eurw_Thames_river_extension_textures.zip. A random search for 20 other files through the same section turned up nothing.

Because they were probably all uploaded after September of 2008.

You gotta be kidding. Do you have any idea how many files I will have to reload? What about other developers? I may not even have some of the files I uploaded any more, they cou;d be lost forever . . .

Yes, no panic!

There's no reason to think that the Mexican flue infected the backup files from Sept. 30th onwards.........:d

I have faith all will eventually be back in the files. I did note many thumb pix of the items are missing. Should these be sent to Douglas, and if so when. Its more important to have the files first!

Hi folks,

reporting missing download links.

I just tried downloading Oglivie's P-61 update pack "FDGp61_3_update.zip" and I got the following error message:

Not Found

The requested URL /soh_ftp/cfs2-aircraft/fdgp61_3_update.zip was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.41 Server at sim-outhouse.com Port 80 "

Since I was able to download the few CFS2 addon files uploaded after April 29th, I tested the files prior to that date.

I extended my addon lib page to 50 per page CFS2 downloads and tried downloading most of them.

While I am currently downloading Morton's RAF repaints for TR's A-20, apparently, none of the files uploaded before April 29th are available. I always get the above message in return.

Kelti and others,

Last I heard they were still working on the FS 8/9/FSX side, then it's CFS3, CFS2, and CFS1.
