Looking very good! You beat me for a Rhodesian paint...lol Luckily many more RhAF schemes to paint :)

Did the Danish fly Hunters with the tail chute? I seems tor ecal they flew earlier "fighter" marks.

Sorry, my mistake.
I search high and low to find which mark of 'winder the Swiss Hunters carried, but drew a blank. Since release I've discovered it should be -9B or -9P. Hey-ho.

It's a beautiful plane, it's a beatiful model and these are beautiful repaints.

WOW, thanks to Henry and Dave for this, just amazing, payware quality aircraft.

Is the two seater going to get the same FSX treatment Dave ? This got lots of hours in FS9 and plenty in FSX as a port over too.

Twin seaters are pretty much converted. Needs a bit of tweaking and some painting, but shouldn't take too long

Have a safe trip Henk. I'm afraid you took the wrong period to visit our country. The weather was lovely here the last few weeks, but now its raining quite hard and the weather forecast is promising us more rain and low temperatures.

Nevertheless, enjoy!

Thank you guys :jump: But in all fairness the kudos must go to Garwood that gave us an excellent paintkit. I didn't have to work hard with the repaints :ernae:

This is by now one of my top ten aircraft for fsx. Here a few more:

Yep, quite a masterpiece, even though it's a nightmare to land the darn thing. :P

And is the brake chute switch just a gimmick or is there a real chute?

Also: What about the famous Swiss "Papyrus" one?

There were other farewell liveries as well, but I couldn't find any usable pictures of them so far.

Also, any chance for some swedish liveries? :)

And, interestingly enough, the Lebanese Air Force has put four Hunters back into service in 2008!

Very nice paints Henry:jump:
I'll be adding a few of those.

@ Bjoern, the brake chute does work visually, although there isn't any braking effect. Arm the switch prior to touchdown.

Did do that, but somehow it didn't work...

Ah well, need to try again.

BTW, great to see the Danish F.51 (F.4)!

Is the first one a Abu Dhaban FGA.76?

Nice!

I believe the FGA.76 was build to FGA.9 standard with the tail chute. The same goes for the Leb AF Hunter.

I missed this thread first time around. I cannot believe you said that, take it back immediately. The Hunter is a definitive Jet design in the same way the F-5 is. They are what jets should look like. And yet beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
:173go1:
Beautiful paint jobs btw.

It would be so nice if someone did G-PSST 'Miss Demeanour' for the FSX Hunter. I know she divides opinions - I've heard her paint job described as sacrilege - but she always makes me smile.
