I think all the sites that had it are dead. I could only find it on this filesharing site: http://www.4shared.com/file/36996376/17b55162/alpha_FS9.html

Try this one as well. You will get a zip containing the .exe of the AlphaBlu Ciel Alpha Jet.

T Square;
I found my Alpha Jet on a website that's in french; thank goodness for webpage translator. I posted 4 links that will take directly to the download page for the files. The first link is for an Alpha Jet painted in a 10,000 hours flown scheme. The second is for the French Patrol aerobatic team, this download includes all 10 jets. The third link is for the Flyboys aerobatic team (which I think is a fictional team), I believe there is at least 8 planes in that download. The final link is for a panel upgrade, do yourself a favor and download it. Trying to start the plane with the original panel is a PITA (Pain In The :censored:). Hope the links help.

To download the file, just click on the disk icon (it looks like the old 3.5 disk) it's just above where the line of stars are.

If you need to know how to do the "full cold star" on this superb Alpha Jet
let me know.

I can send you on this tread a check list on how to start both engines one
after the other, like the real "Gadjet" with some panel illustrations.

I fly this AlphaJet on a weekly basis !
Best regards

Here is how to perform a "Cold Start" on this AlphaJet

These are the steps for the right engine
When done you repeat step 5 to 7 for the left engine

Step 1. Brakes On

Step 2. Open Electric Panel

Step 3. All 5 x Electric Switches "On" ( Upward )

Step 4. Close Electric panel and Open Throtlle panel

Step 5. All 3 x Right Switches "On"

Step 6. Push right Throtlle gently until a square yellow lighting appear
Keep it there

Step 7. Push the right "white/pink" button
( you will heard the engine starting )
Keep pushing until the right RPM gauge "click" at 6,500 RPM
and the right exhaust ( tuyere ) at 5,000

Repeat step 5 to 7 for the left engine.
After that you are ready to taxi !

Nice. . .it should be noted that in the engine start panel, the switch to the right and left of the start buttons must be clicked twice to get them to the start position. If you click it once it goes to a neutral position, clicking it again will move it to start.

That FS site that RL_201 mentioned has some nice files that I never saw anywhere else. They have a French army and navy repaint of the Falcon 50. Been looking for those for a long time.

Here's a nice one I like. I've got links to various versions (of FS) and such at the bottom.

The link for the basic model for 2004 is a dead link. I downloaded the mod right under it, but I assume it's just that, a mod, not the full aircraft.

Sorry for intruding, but whilst on the subject of the AJ i though i would share a repaint ive done, its in a Red Arrows Mock Up.

It is a real scheme for a one off AJ that hangs in the Technik Museum Speyer (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Technik_Museum_Speyer) Germany...

Never mind, the patch is actually a full model, or at least it appears to be. I have a few questions though. . .no pilot or co-pilot from the external view. . .is there any and if so how do I make them show. Also, what sounds would you recommend? I've searched the sound files section at flightsim.com and unless you fly a 737 or larger, you're out of luck. The lear soundfiles should be banned for anything other than the default Lear, lol, really tired of hearing them used for everything from an F-100 to a Commercial Jet.

I have the patched version also. The pilot and co-pilot should appear when you turn on the ligths. Also searched a long time for decent sounds. Eventually found a Hawker 800XP soundpackage for FS2002 by Aaron R. Swindle. It has the same model engines as the Falcon, just a different variant. Dont remember where I got it but you can probably find it at Avsim or Flightsim. Filename is hkxpsnz.zip

Hmmmm, I've tried everything, turning on all the lights, clicking the switches on the upper panel marked for Pilot and co-Pilot, using the backslash key, fwd slash key, nothing get's the pilot and co-pilot to show.
Does anyone else have this airplane and know how to make the crew show up? Keep in mind this is the patched version mentioned above and not the "base" model (the link for that was a dead link and so the patch version was all I could download).

driven by this discussion i have downloaded the file
alphajetflyboysx from simviation in the fsx section.
it works perfect in fs9, has great soundpackage, and
is real fun to fly. There is also a red bull livery available.
cheers

Narah,
Just an FYI, but usually when you attach a quote (as you have here) it is because you are answering or commenting on that particular post. I'm glad you're enjoying the Alphajet, as it has always been a favorite of mine, but it had nothing to do with the quote.

I'll be starting a new thread to see if I can get an answer to my questions, as this is not related to the original thread subject at all.

sorry for that. The intention was to refer to a file/version which does
not have the mentioned issues. (except the copilot, reported dead links and sound files)
Best regards
