Some thoughts on the Li-2 Demo

Interestingly inside the main texture pack there is also a Polar and a VVS version of the Douglas_DC3_1_T.dds named Polar and VVS. Copy the main texture folder twice and call them texture.polar and texture.vvs then rename the Polar and VVS dds files to Douglas_DC3_1_T.dds having first deleted the original Douglas_DC3_1_T.dds.
Then add these lines to the aircraft.cfg:

In order to see the port prop disk as it should be from vc copy the Prop_Li_2.dds and rename it to Prop_DC3.dds. The interior model is evidently still calling for a DC3 prop. Without this the prop is black.

However there is a problem with the lighting. The actual nav lights will show below their correct position and keying the landing lights will bring in a second set of nav lights in the correct position. This may require a mdl tweak unles anyone out there has found a solution?

For those who may have missed the original post the file is at Flightsim.com and is a reworking (especially the vc) to give the stock Dc-3 the look of the license built Lisunov Li-2 Russian built version.
