Very nice!, quite a large scale for this model. Would it be Academy or Trumpeter or even Monogram? Are its wheels retracable?
I see that you've got an F-86 sabre and T-33 kitsets on the table! 1:48 I presume?

looks quite impressive Cirrus, I build models too, most are 1:72 WWII aircraft but do have some 1:48 ones as well. I have boxes stored away waiting to be built.

What's with all the USAF Star-Bars on the wrong wings. That F-84, which looks like 1/48 has the wing markings all backwards.
But then again, it's your model....:ernae:

Cirrus, don't ever get anal like me. Your models take me back to the fun days I had of just getting the kit and sticking it together, no or little paint, no frills, decals, and boom, an airplane!

I got too involved, models that were constructed in a night or two took a month, then two months, then several months, as I slowly progressed my talents and anality!

I may and most likely will hit the workbench again, but I need to take it less serious and just have some fun. Trouble is, I just can't find my way home! I always get stuck doing "the best a man can do".

You're having a great time and learning all along too, Watch those 1/32nds, they get costly.

They look great Cirrus... JWD. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v64/GT182/Thumbup.gif

I had a Hasagawa/Tamyia 1:32 F-86 kit back in the 70s that was beautiful. Also a 1:32 Me-262 kit from the same outfit that was just as nice. Plastic kits prices today are just nuts for the larger scales.... well all actually for all of them. Makes my my Otaki Porsche 911 Turo kit worth a lot. Yep, still unbuilt.

Oh man, I thought it was only me!!! My last model a Do.217 took me two years, the decals are not on it yet and allready I think I really messed it up and it could have looked better...etc.:faint:

1 :32 is my favorite scale to....I've got a number of models that size. That lightning would be a good one to get....might have a look around, haven't seen one boxed before.
