The A/FX programme, still very early WiP, but thatīs a render from the mesh.
Iīm not the developer, but itīs a very detailed rendition of this "what if" aircraft that never made it.No release date.

That is the ugliest piece of sin I've ever seen in my life. They should've been ashamed of themselves for even making a prototype of that beast. I'm glad that the F-35 won.

With gears retracted, the looks of the X-32B beats the one of the F-35 big time.

No, sorry you're eyesight is irreparably damaged. May I suggest glasses?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the plane running against the F-35 was designed by Boeing yes? And Boeing's last foray in to fighter aircraft was the P-26 peashooter right? IMOP both types were far from winning any beauty pageant...

Infact I'd say the P-26 beats the X-32B for looks just because of the P-26's vintage factor...

.....Boeing does a handsome job with large aircraft (B-17, B-29, B-777), but leave designing the little guys out of the plans.

I have to agree with you on that one...I always liked aircraft with the big under-fuselage intakes like the A-7 and F-8 though...

Got contacts.

And no, my eyes haven't gotten worse.

Just to be mean...95% of all aircraft designed in the UK were *way* uglier than the X-32.

Yap. Plus the F-16, Eurofighter, X-31...

I hate to pee in the punch bowl, but I'm wondering what happened to the A-7 SLUFF you had in the works. Christmas came and went.

I guess I can't complain, when I initially looked at this thread I was sorta expecting "a man with three buttock's". That would be Monty Python.

There was a documentary on TV a few years back about the competition between the two aircraft. Boeing did a horrible job with this aircraft.

The A-7 is on pause (as so the T-2) they have become so detailed that i needed to take a breather on both (and started another project to do so) so i think iīm on schedule, so help me God
