Effects files

I seem to have lost my main effect files like landing smoke, wakes etc.
I was looking at the two cd's of FSX but cannot seem to figure out where the effects files would be. All the cab files seem to contact what look like registry entries.

Would anyone know exactly where I could find them as I don't want to reinstall just for this, there's no need.

Any help appreciated.
