Although I am a photographer and not a movie director, I figured I'd still give this a try. We are almost ready to release our first 'AJ Weber Product', featuring a Helicopter carrier AND a wonderful AAV (amphibious tank). AJ has done a great job in making this AAV animated (first moving tracks I've seen in FSX!), and steerable!!

It is a true pleasure to drive (using rudder pedals/rudder steering) both on land AND in water. And the only way to really show that is in a movie..... I'll make some more... and hopefully better ones.. but here's the idea:

Being a fan of AJ Weber's work and a fellow shipyard member, this is high on my purchase list. He's done a excellent job.

Having made a tracked vehicle for FSX I have a deep appreciation for anyone else who does it as well. Not for the faint of heart.

I do have a suggestion for solving the shadow problem when the AAV is in the water. If you make a duplicate of the material that is used on the part of the vehicle that's below the waterline, you can add the quality of not casting a shadow to the material and you won't have the shadow showing up on the water. You could have two separate bottoms, one with shadows and one without, and the visibility of each part being determined by altitude. When it's above 0 it's on land, when it's below 0 it's in the water. Just a thought.

Good work.

Dont you wish there were entire sim platforms we could utilize or lease and we could do entire sims like Tank sims?

Tim, I see your tank and also yours Francois, and I think of Panzer Commander.

If only you could take that sim platform, switch out the vehicles, move the scenarios around a bit, and you would have an entire new sim.
