When I install FS9 scenery into FSX (SP2+UTX), I can't land there!
:banghead:

For example, I just installed Mark Smith's Bremerton 2005 (KPWT). I fly toward the runway at 1500 ft., and as soon as I get over it - "Building Crash"!

This has happened to me with a couple of other FS9 airport sceneries.

Is there a way to avoid this behaviour (other than turning off Crash Detection)?

Ahm....Not trying to be sarcastic but...:kilroy:

That's why it's "FS9 Scenery"...(it was meant for FS2004, not FSX) :cost1:

It's always "hit & miss" with FS2004 stuff in FSX...

Panther is right Jeff, unless it's been patched in some way or rebuilt, I'd stay clear of FS9 scenery, specifically in FSX SP2. It's very unlikely that Mark will be patching Bremerton, I haven't seen him about for a couple of years now.

What they said, FS9 scenery was made for FS9 and FSX scenery is made for FSX.

Its due to the default elevation...FS9 sees it at a different one than FSx..so you are effectively hitting the unseen ground...Whick kills people....:costumes:
