I picked this location (U53_Henry's Lake) for another destination for the Back_Country locations that Dees and I put together. The problem I'm having is shown in the image below. In IS3 I place all the objects (done it a million times by now) save and close out the Sim. When I go back to that scenery all objects are offset as you see. The shadows remain where they should be though. Nothing I have tried has fixed the problem. Has anyone who uses IS3 ever had this problem?

I should also add that if I load IS3 again to work on this area, the objects go back to their correct positions and will remain that way even after I close the program. If I close the Sim and go back. . . .offset again:banghead::banghead:

Thanks Ian. Yes, I went back and checked those on your suggestion and everything is correct. At first glance I thought it appeared that the objects were raised above the ground causing the shadows to appear offset but that wasn't the case. The objects and the shadows are at the same altitude. I'm shelving the scenery until I can figure out what is causing this.

At least you should be able to modify the elevation of each object. Taht would solve localy the problem. Sometimes I have to face it too, whitout any reasons.

Thanks Bernard but the elevation isn't the problem. It's the offset that I have no control over apparently. I can delete every object, save the scenery, close the Sim. . .then reload the Sim go to that scenery and place each object over again correctly, then save, close the Sim. . .reload the Sim and all those objects are offset as before. If it wasn't for the segmented circle I wouldn't care are about the other objects, but that circle has a specific spot to look correct and it refuses to stay where I put it.

I found the fix. Turns out I had the same problem 3 years ago and posted in the IS3 Forums. The objects must be compiled with "Drawcall_Batching" turned off in the options in MCX. I loaded each of the object bgl's and recompiled. . .everything is perfect now.
