Coming from a NavAir background I might be out of line for saying this, but I really wonder about the professionalism of our shiphandlers these days, both Surface and Submarine type. :frown:

One of ours hit some rocks last year -

Also the grounding of USS Port Royal last month off Honolulu. The ship was well outside of the normal navigation channel, ran up on a coral reef. $25+ million in damage.
