Thank you for sharing. Very interesting, and seems to be honest, story about a very interesting aircraft. Love those early jets ,when they were just trying to learn how to use this kind of technology . Cheers, Scott

Inevitably any story of a captured German plane after the war has a connection to the astonishing Captain Eric Brown. Nine Arado Ar 234B-2 were surrendered to the British at Sola Airfield in Norway. Captain Brown, as commander of the Enemy Aircraft Flight, 'swapped' 140312 (along with three other B-2s) with the US Operation Lusty team for the opportunity to interview Hermann Goering! If you haven't read his book "Wings On My Sleeve", in which he talks about that interview, I can recommend it highly.
