Hi Folks,
Just giving a heads up that Chris Lampard's next model is a cracking little late 30's and early WWII Japanese Nakajima Ki-27 Nate fighter. I'm just finishing up the VC, pilot, and bits and pieces, so upload soon.

Great tex by Chris and have been working on the FDE to get it flying very nicely, and agile, as supposedly they were.

Cheers

Ki-27's looking good. :encouragement:. Lots of flashy fuselage stripes and tail markings for repaints.
Ever since CFS2 first came out I've wondered why Japanese flight simmers haven't made more prewar aircraft designs like the IJN's Aichi D1A or Yokosuka B4Y. Always happy to see a new Ki-27 or A5M but I'd love to see some other older planes - especially the IJN types. :japan:

Well honorable TB-san, I quite agree, and I think you'll like what's coming soon to a sim near you......;)

ps. ...and others, when I get time....is it possible to fiddle with time and have multiple lifetimes running at the same time??:dizzy:

Honorable TB-san likes your future offerings. :encouragement:
Nakajima A4N1 - that's exactly the kind of prewar IJN plane I was thinking of when I made my earlier comment. I like the older planes but I can never remember remember the model designators.

Alain, I assume you're referring to the J1N1. Akemi Mizoguchi's J1N1-S Gekkou is available in a package of his other CFS2 planes converted for FSX. Search for Hagochus3rd.zip at the Simviation website. I have the J1N1 flying in FS9 right now (see pic) and it looks good.

Thanks Chris and Shessi! I am very far away from my Flightsim computer so I have to be patient as I won't be able to fly it before end next week! :banghead:

Greetings, All-

Beautiful job on the Nate!

Guys, there's also a fully native J1N1-S for FSX available from Hadi Tahir... Made over 10 years ago...

Mike, that J1N1 was one of the first FSX planes I downloaded way back when, not long after Paul Clawson's Northrop BT-1. :encouragement:
It won't work in FS9 which I thought was Alain's main interest. Hagochu's planes work in both FS9 and FSX.

The package has a Raiden that looks interesting....
I have started work on a panel to replace the "primitive" one extant.
Here is my work so far.

This Ki-27 is a very nice plane. Thank you for this. I especially like the exterior model, it has a good shape and a nice clean skin.

This spurred me to fire up FS2004 for the first time in a while, and pretty soon I was getting reacquainted with the MAAM TBM-3 and other nice stuff.

It is good to see you picked this one up Steve! The model is too good to go without repaints :encouragement:

Looking good Steve.
A long time ago I found myself stuck with producing several 1:48 scale 'Nate's' for our club entry in the IPMS nationals.
The theme for our effort was 'The Early Days of the Pacific Conflict', nobody was interested in the 'opposition' so two of us built Nates, Oscars and Claudes.
Ended up being very interesting and we came across lots of colour and several Japanese Aces who were relatively unknown.
