Hi Folks,
Just uploaded two German WWII flying boats, the Dornier Do18 D and G models. Pre-war and early WWII flying boats, used in several theaters. The D model has the open rear gunner and lower power motors, the G has the higher powered engines and rear turret.

Ported over from a IL-2 sim G model, I added a VC based on the Do24, LOD's, and made a D model.

Thanks Shessi,

Since I did build the 1/72 Matchbox Do-18 model kit, I always had a soft spot for this aircraft.

Cheers,
Huub

I always liked the lines of the Do 18. :encouragement:

Check out this footage at :55. The whole airframe shudders in the heavy seas.
