This morning I was doing a hard run on my new computer to see what it could do with them 8 cores & 12 Gigs of DDR3 Memory, and the power went off, it took all day to fix, here is the pole outside my house.

Run. Hide. Don't admit to it!! The bill is going to be a hefty one. A good reason I never overclock:gossip:

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........

Now a true story.......When I was a kid we were playing football in the street at night and my friend punted the ball. The ball went straight up and hit one of those "cobra head" street lights and broke it, then all the street lights up and down the street went out. I tell ya, you never saw a bunch of kids scatter soooooooo fast!!!

LOLOL.....

Too funny... Both Ickies and Dennishes..

Man.. 8 cores.... That was a rumour only a year and a half ago.. if that.. Now people own them.

Amazing times we live in.

So.. Do you have to OC each chippy? or do they all OC in a team? :d

You need to start each core on it's own, or the inrush load current...:pop4:

I am not a fan of overclocking, it just cost too much to fail.
I am running at 2.93 GHz
12 Gigs of memory running at 1333 MHz

Itīs time we also get Ickie his own powerplant to run the system, I bet everytime he switches on his rig at night all lights go out in the neigborhood. This is seriously funny.

Ickie might want to look into this for his energy needs. Who knows, he might have enough left over to sell to his neighbors.

I feel for ya Ickie. You need a backup generator for that kind of power requirement. ;)

Back in 1991, I actually knocked down a power pole with a transformer on it in my back yard up in NY. Power went out all over town. All too true. :d
