Friend needs help with XP

I have a friend who lives near Murphy, NC, but there is no internet in his area, and won't be for the foreseeable future. The only way he can access the internet is through his cellphone, and then tether to his PC. The connection is sketchy at best.

Regarding XP, though, he is wanting to learn how about to file a flight plan, and incorporate it into a FMS, to where it will utilize the autopilot and fly the way points. He has watched numerous YouTube videos, and has yet to find one yet that suffiently explains how to do this.

I have suggested he join this forum, but again, his internet access is limited. I am hoping that someone on this forum can help me provide him with the information he needs. Thanks. NC
