Repaints? The VRS proves to be too big a pain in the butt, so I thought I would move to the next best thing. The AF F/A-18.

I am sure many have it, and I don't see alot of repaints out there

I am in work on a few Marine D model and am going to do a VFA-106 and VFA-125 D repaint. Any other requests?

Buffalo, guess I should say Western NY. I can't remember who did them right now but I'll think about it. He did at least 4 or 5 USMC paint for the AF 18, maybe more? I seem to remember at least one of them at Avsim?

We still need some VMFA-212 Lancers for the AF F/A-18. This is the squadron we supported when I was with MALS-12 in Iwakuni.

In work. I also do some nice stuff with the helmet...what name do you want on it?

Excellent! I don't know of any of the names for the helmet, though I'd be willing to bet the A/C that has "NOTSO" on the tail, the pilot would be Swift.

I was thinking along the line of YOUR name on the helmet, or your callsign like Maverick, Goose, etc

Might as well make it "Cobra" then.

I seem to remember some time back a 'photoreal' spanish air force paint for it that 'dulled' the shine on it...anyone know how to do this? BTW that 212 paint looks great! Now we need some for the AW boys!!

Working on it. Never done a photoreal, just have to be satisfied with my freebies ;)...I will comprise a package.

That 242 looks interesting, I am going to work on it.

Will do some D boys models too.

I don't think those repaints have been posted anywhere, plus there is no confirmation that it is the aerialfoundry F/A-18.

Hey Warhawk....please don't give up on the 242 paints so soon....seems the ones in the vid are not available; apparently they were done for a virtual Marine Corps unit and I can't seem to find them....:help:

VUSN is like this, but that's not a bad thing...you want all the goodies from a well established, well organized and a decent level of realism, then ya gotta join up for the adventure.

I use a similar tactic myself for CVW-40, we all call it INCENTIVE TO JOIN. Nice repaints, there, VUSN. keep em flying.

USNVA_02
March 3rd, 2009, 17:33
ahh, it's USNVA, Warhawk...not VUSN and yes...one of the privledges of membership is you get all our awesome repaints, membership is not a bad thing, some might enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Naval Aviators. We stress realism over just boring holes in the sky

Fellow naval aviators? as in retired real ones? might be a few I have served with.
