It seems that the VISUAL effect for deployed landing flaps does not work. Using either the keyboard or the 2 step VC function control the indication is that the flaps are operating and the aircraft handling appears to be appropriately affected. However, a visual inspection in spot view shows the flaps stowed in the full up position. I’ve read over the manual several times to see if there was some procedure I was overlooking or incorrectly sequencing to no avail. I contracted Aeroplane Heaven via their web site several weeks ago without result.

The DIVE BRAKES DO WORK properly both visually and flight handling. BTW I’ve made no mods to the config file other than the texture sections.

Has/is anyone having this issue? Just wanted to know before I try a un/re-install of the aircraft to see if that will fix it.

Thanks,

Steve

Hmm, I havent the model installed now but I spend a lot of hours with this addon (landing on carriers ect) and didnt notice any problem with flaps or speed break.

Thanks YoYo. Yeah, the speed brakes work fine, deploy visually and flight characteristics behave appropriately. Only the landing flaps don’t work visually.

I appreciate your reply.

I loaded my copy of the AH SB2C into my FSX Steam install and observed that the landing flaps do display correctly in spot view. Seems okay, no other anomalies noted. I use Saitek yoke and throttle quadrants. My quite antiquated PC operates under Windows 7.

Thanks llaning08. Looks like a re-installation is in order. I appreciate your reply.
