I'm looking for anyone who uploads files to flightsim.com on a regular basis that can upload the LET410 to their site. I have tried "WS_FTP 12" and "FileZilla" and was unable to upload. In the case of FileZilla it said it couldn't find the directory list and with WS_FTP 12 it said it couldn't open the file.

I can't use the browser upload because the file is too large (170meg). Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using the FileZilla client to upload to my personnal space from my internet provider, without issues.
This tool is normally quite easy to use.
I'm curious about that error message it threw at you. Which path couldn't it locate exactly ? The path on the flightsim.com servers, or on your local computer ?

This is what I'm seeing.

Ed, you can avoid the file size limit by using Chrome, Chromium or the new Edge Chromium.

Actually it's not a limit due to my browser but a limitation set by Flightsim.com. They state that browser uploads are limited to 100meg, anything larger must be uploaded using an FTP Client.

I'm getting similar results with Filezilla: It logs me in, but fails getting a directory listing, and times out. That's kind of weird. If it logs us in, we should be "in", but apparently not. Tried with both my Windows and Linux machines.

Okay, have tried it with chrome browser , status failed.
have installed FileZilla and tried to upload , status failed.
Have uninstalled FileZilla and his with installed software.
So no chance for me to upload at flightsim.
I'm praising simviation.com here, there you can upload
your software fast and uncomplicated .

Thanks for trying guys. I think the last thing I uploaded to Flightsim.com was probably about 15 years ago. They have a limitation on browser uploads of 100meg. Anything beyond that requires a FTP Client to upload. The fact that everyone that has tried has gotten similar results makes me feel better knowing I'm not totally daft, lol.

Success! I had also downloaded WS_FTP12 and tried it, but with no success. I tried again just a bit ago and found a message that stated it needs to be uploaded to the incoming folder. I switched to that folder and the upload progressed. So I assume they have it now and hopefully within a few days it'll be available at flightsim.com as well.
