Ok, so I'm thinking about getting REX, but have heard she is tough on hardware

Here is what I have...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
Intel(R) Core 2 Duo CPU E8600 at 3.33GHz
3.25 GB of RAM
FSX Accel, and Windows XP 32 bit

Any info would be great,

Regards Diego

It should be okay, but I've got similar specs to you and I've been having performance issues.
Pitty you can't "try before you buy" with most of the add-ons you get for FSX. :(

It should run it just fine..BUT Sirben is having a time with it..he appears to not be alone too.. Their forums seem well, errr slow and not much help..Go have a look...

Many end up just using it for water, and stay with FEX for clouds as they do have great support...

XGraphics is a choice too..

I use FEX with the old AS6 engine or just real world weather in FSX updated...

I use ASA & X Graphics together they are good gives very realistic weather
also have FEX but for some reason it stopped working cannot export the textures to FSX (will re-install it )
