I am looking for an MDL viewer for FS9 that can show what texture is where. I have FSX model viewer by Decapod that works great for FSX; it can highlight each individual texture independently so you can see what is where. Does anyone know where I can find something like that for FS9? I have FS repaint V2 and it will look at FS9 mdls but it doesn't list or highlight textures.

Not quite sure if this would work for you. It's Adlabs Panel Finder Tool.

There is also a Panel Finder Extension tool that will fine tune down to even smaller detail areas.

I used it for years for FS9 and I believe it should also work for FSX if you convert the texture to an FSX format.

The only problem is that I can't figure out where I ever got it or where to find it now.

Still looking though.

It does indeed still work on FSX. Here's the new A2A P-47 with the Panel Finder installed.
