Rins has always been quick Ed.
He has a talent for looking after his tyres and I'm (just me, myself) delighted that Suzuki have built a competitive bike.
Rossi did really well, especially for an 'Old Man'.
Bad day for Honda, another chain coming off for Jorge (that's 2 in a row) and a very strange front end washout for Marc when he was more or less cruising.
Only a case of where and when for Crutchlow, he's always pretty ragged.
Great to see 'Our Jack' fastest Duke in qualifying and leading the factory bikes to a podium.
Always good to have a couple of fresh faces on the top.

This cracked me up, I guess it's one way of warming up CF brake discs!

Big race weekend for sure on 2 wheels. I've watched all the press and no one asked MM93 why he fell down twice trying to get the bike going again. The 2nd one looked as if he was playing around. Missed COTA again this year due to work, maybe I can get to Laguna Seca.

I think Marc was having an 'Oh f--k it!' moment the second time!
It would be as boring as EffWun if he kept on winning all the time.
Moto3 was like a knife fight in a phone booth and the Triumph Triple powered Moto2 bikes sounded glorious and put on a great race.
If you stripped away all the BS at COTA it would be a real old school event.
Looking at the grid is encouraging, Honda, Ducati, Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM (in no particular order) and a good number of privateers indicates a healthy MotoGP going forward.

If the man has the talent, he should win all the time.
Speaking of Honda, I'll have to keep an eye out on Lorenzo as the season progresses....
