Honda Racing Corporation is pleased to announce the signing of three-times MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo. The Spanish rider will join the Repsol Honda Team for the next two years.
From 2019, Lorenzo will become teammate to four-times MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez: two great champions with great talent and high hopes that will make a stronger team and contribute to the development of HRC.

Now this is going to be very interesting indeed!!!
And so is this!

Ducati Corse wishes to announce that it has reached an agreement with Danilo Petrucci which will see the Italian rider join the Ducati Team in 2019. The 27-year-old from Terni has therefore been promoted to the factory squad after four seasons in the factory-supported Pramac Racing Team and he will race alongside his fellow Italian Andrea Dovizioso, who was recently confirmed for two more seasons.

When I heard the announcement I immediately start wondering whether the relationship between Lorenzo and Marquez will be as bad as Lorenzo's relationship with Rossi was.

Obviously Lozenzo want to be the number ondriver in the team, but I'm pretty convinced Marquez wants the same. And perhaps Lorenzo (31) already had his best year behind him.

Just my thoughts.........

Yamaha were really keen to set up a satellite team around Jorge as Herve Poncharal's 'Tech 3' team are going with KTM next year.
I doubt he'll find the Honda any easier to ride than the Ducati as Marc has an aggressive riding style (just like Casey Stoner) and HRC set up the bike to suit him.
We've noticed the number of times Dani Pedrosa has been off the pace as he's always been very smooth unlike his team mate (or should I say Team Leader)...........:encouragement:
