Steam employee Erik Johnson argued that the best way to avoid conflict with the community in future was to abdicate all responsibility and leave patrons to make their own decisions.

I disagree with this policy. Will they also allow pirated software to be sold on their site? If their policy is to have no policy, then I see Steam becoming a site that will be unsafe to visit.

They have a business to run and a reputation to uphold.
Does anyone seriously expect them to risk destroying their extensive business!
