Very interesting photos. A shame that there was no indication of the provenance of these photos. Were they part of a collection and what was the photographic process etc? Some of these look like the work of Albert Kahn, a Frenchman who took colour photographs all over the world in the early 20th century. Some of his stuff was shot around Amiens and Rheims during the First World War.

Some of those photos did look familiar, so I did a quick search for Albert Kahn's work during the First World War. This site was one of several useful results:
