Hi all,

I have also posted this in the Prepar3d Forum.

I am contemplating purchasing Prepar3d once I purchase a new computer (3 months time).

I have read that ORBX did the scenery for Prepar3d.

I have ORBX Global Vector, HD Trees, Northern Cali, and Open Land Class NA for FSX.

Will I need these products in Prepar3d?

Thanks,

Joe

Yes you will. Before you delete FSX, go the Orbx site and they will tell you how to move those to P3Dv4.2. It's painless...

You simply CANNOT afford to not get P3D v4 64 bit. A whole new game. As mentioned, using FTX Central you can add/convert/migrate your purchased Orbx FSX scenery to P3D - absolutely essential to do so - and as mentioned it is all FREE!

I don't think so, you're probably thinking of Dovetail FSW.

So yes, you need your Orbx stuff. I'm assuming you missed Global Base off your list, otherwise the OLC product won't be much use!

Sometimes I am addled and befuddled, and I misremember. You are right, I left of global base.
