Well as it's 2:30 AM here and I can't sleep due, I presume, to some rotten food, I find myself with camera in hand. Odd the things you do when sleep is evasive!

My fairly simple/boring desk.

Not sure if she's French or not, she doesn't speak English and I don't speak or even recognize her language so I haven't been able to ask her. Boy, do I regret taking 3 years of Latin way back when. It's turned out to be totally useless in my travels over the years.

Gonna try the "Pictionary" game approach at some point, may be able to make a break through. Maybe not.

I couldn't live in a messy appartment. If I don't clean the whole place for more than two weeks, I'm starting to feel uneasy. So I usually clean it every seven or eight days. Keeps you busy and usually leaves a good impression with any visitors. ;)
Additionally, having been in the army also pays off. You clean places other people wouldn't even consider worth cleaning. Just in case the sergeant pops in for a surprise inspection...:costumes:

I don't understand how people can work in a mess, I always feel it's counter productive. Having said that, open one of my cupboards and your likely to be knocked over from falling items that have been packed in with very little care. :monkies:

Previous girlfriend had me get rid of it (sold).
I now have some replica swords (medieval and Japanese) and a real Kukhri (from one of my deployments). I still have to persuade my current girlfriend for a new antique rifle, probably a SMLE or a Kar-98K again (Also inoperative). But then again, i want a bigger aquarium as well.:applause:

I don't have a pics of my [basic] FS setup but since there's some other random pics in here I thought I'd post this one of the book shelf in my room. I don't normally keep the ammo up there, but it made for a nice backdrop for the shot.

The Aviation books seen here are from the Publishers of World Airpower Journal, if you've ever heard them. It's no longer in print, but they made some of the very best aviation books I've seen.

CH Throttle Quad. it all depends on what aircraft I'm flying. B-17 or 337 I set them up for throttle.
