Hi guys,

Merry Christmas and seasons greetings to you all! I've decided to make a rare appearance as life is keeping me tied up.

However, I will be making an announcement in the New Year! I'll give you guys a hint: a certain mission pack is nearing completion!

Anyways, I've got a bit of a strange issue with AnKor's shaders after I installed the latest Fw-190's set.

I know this picture isn't the best, but the tracer round looks like a square. I was wondering if there's any possible fix?

I think there's a .dds file missing somewhere, but I'm not sure which one.

The second question I've got is what value in the d3d8.dll must be changed to adjust the ground brightness? I've got my monitor at 100 percent brightness and the terrain looks incredibly dark - even during a summer's day!

Thanks

Chris

Tracer Issue:

Ground Issue:
There is not an entry in the d3d8.ini that would do that universally as far as I know. Setting
CloudShadowDensity=10
CloudShadowOvercast=100
CloudShadowHeavy=100
would make the cloud shadows dark, but not everything.

There is a SunStrength factor buried in light.fx in the shaders30 folder. Have you changed anything from the defaults?

A new one indeed! Somehow your 190 cockpit has distorted into an uncanny likeness of a Bf 109E cockpit!:playful:

And here I thought the 190 and 109E had the same characteristics!

Got the issue all figured out. Was something I forgot to do.

Speaking of Ankor's shaders and all that, I think we might be able to implement cockpit damage models with the d3d8.dll.

How are you and the family doing?
