Perfect late Spring day and a very low tide.....what more of an excuse needed to wander around the base of the cliffs at Cape Schank?
Rather pleased with this shot of 'Pulpit Rock'.

For some strange reason known only to ImageShack insiders my images get dumped!
After I reload them a few times they seem to stay put!
Not going to re-up with them for 2018.......:redfire:

Let's see if this stays put, came across a flock of Little Terns slumming it with an equal number of Silver Gulls.
Very egalitarian of them.

Got it this time ! Nice photo - your Little Tern (Sterna Silensis) is quite different from ours !

I'm never certain which Tern is which, as both the Little Tern (Sterna albifons) and Fairy Tern (Sterna nereis) look so much alike especially when immature. Definitely a few here were having a bad hair day!
Really annoying as I inherited some really good 'Bird Books' from my Father, and they all seem to contradict one another!.

No mistaking this little performer, a male Blue Wren in bright new plumage in early Spring.
