Advice on new PC Spec im looking to purchase

Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a new pc for gaming and flight-simming (stutter free/lag/blurries etc all hopefully removed with a new pc)

I am looking at overclockers at the moment and this is the spec (below) im looking to possibly purchase.

Would anyone like to add any comments or advice of any specs I might need to change? My budget is maximum £3000, but ideally around £2500 im happy at.

By my rough estimation, this is a lot of money to throw around and your components look good.

The remaining money can be invested into a P3Dv4 non-academic license or the developer's subscription.

Make sure you don't get the antivirus, keep the cash, eat something.

Way more worth it.

And the windows license if you already have one.

For what it's worth, I would...
>Go for 2 sticks of 16 rather than 4 of 8, read somewhere that 4 sticks can bottleneck the system. (It does on mine including occasional blue screens)
>Go for Win 10 professional, better options for controlling updates.
>Ditch the anti-virus.. Get freeware or just use the built in MS.

Im so sorry, I should of checked I had all the details before I posted.

Consider an M.2 drive since it is ridiculously fast. I did all SSD's, and then my buddy built a similar rig and used a 1TB M.2 drive as his main HD. It's fast.
Your specs look good. I also agree about the antivirus and Win10 Pro. I've got it. No issues yet.

The i7 8700K is an excellent choice! As Roman noted above you should go with two sticks of RAM... the 8700K and motherboards for it are all dual channel hardware.

Read up on the MB before going to an M.2 though, as they disable a lot of the SATA slots if you do; at least on my MB (Gigabyte Z170X Gaming-7) anyway.
