Hey all;
Just a question here. I've been searching for years trying to find good quality early models of various vintage warbirds, like a Jumo powered BF-109, Allison powered Mustang MkI - P-51A, or a "shark-tailed" B-17. Prewar pursuit birds like the Seversky P-35 and Republic P-43 are also high on my list. Does anyone know of GOOD quality models of these aircraft anywhere? Or maybe know of someone working on them, that they might be available someday? I know there are some rather inaccurate and out dated versions of some of these, or versions from FS2K4 that can work in FSX, but they frankly don't look right. (The one BF-109B/D I found is positively painful to look at.) :distress:
I know there are many highly talented sim aircraft artists out there, and I'd love to see any of these. (I'd even be willing to open Jack Benny's Vault for them!):biggrin-new:
