It's not FSX/P3D - they made that with Unigine2. Looks quite good!

What those Unigine demos do, is make us realise how dated the FsX engine really is.

Indeed, the difference of "age", in terms of techology, is really visible, to say the least.

I wish someone WOULD make a serious sim with this engine. These tech demos show what would be possible.

Can you imagine flying your Tomcat over the Navy armada and seeing waves like this!

Yes! Unfortunately, I expect all I've ever do is imagine it.

The problem seems to be making it work on a world-wide scale. The NexGen flight sim project tried to do it (may still be trying), but rumour had it that Unigine wouldn't (or couldn't) provide support for the whole world. That, and the fact that the license has been quoted as costing as much as $50,000! You'd have to sell a lot of software to recover that sort of investment.

Wow! When going thru that smoke, I almost wanted to cough. :encouragement:

I went to page were you can get a free demo, but they ask, What project are you working on.

The one with the ships and bow and stern waves were amazing, The water action is truly awesome. Reminds me of the days when I was at sea looking at bow and stern waves.
