Where is the best place for ai traffic files to live? Default is Scenery/World/Scenery, but it seems to me that with addons which may not be permanently in use - aircraft carriers, say, or bush airfields having a vintage fly-in - it might be better if they were in the addon's own Scenery folder. Any thoughts, please?

actually, it doesn't really matter, as long as it's in a scenery folder that FS9 reads. You can even make a new folder called AI/scenery and put all the traffic files in there.
however, if you are into organization, then putting the AI files into each scenery is a good idea.
For me, i have all general AI in the world/scenery folder. But for stuff like Vancouver+, Glacier Bay 2, etc, i leave the all AI files in those folders.
