It's getting quiet round here lately so I'd thought I'd tempt fate by starting a screenshot thread...

My latest project is another conversion using Allen's toools for operating MDLC under the newer operating systems.

A conversion of Jens B Kristensen's Avro Ten, itself a licence built copy of the Fokker FVII/3m

Repaint is VH-UXX, which was owned by Stevenson Airways at Wau, New Guinea when the Japs rolled in...

The air file is proving quite challenging :bee:

I could tell you but then I would have to kill you. :rocket: But all kidding aside, it's a project I am excited about.

Looking good, UT! Looking forward to playing with it.

Interesting side note about, Wau, PNG: During the 1930s, Wau was a gold rush boom town full of prospectors along with the hustlers, near-do-wells and camp followers who always show up in gold-rush boom towns. Errol Flynn lived in Wau during 1930-1933 working as a Patrol Officer (Kiap), trader, shipper, hustler and gold prospector. :pirate:

Hi Folks,

Not forgotten CFS2! I posted about the Sunderland on Fs9, and doing a CFS2 version. Also a long time ago, I don't know if I posted this, but also a Halibag BI and II and GRII.

Basing them on the very talented and generous Ted K's CFS3 models, much modded and added to for FS9/CFS2 flying.

Also my He115, gradually working through the VC and internals...there's lots!

And some detailed scenery to go with the above.

UT really like the Fokker...and MR, the Ju G31go could be done with a much modded Ju52 as a start point...thinking???!! ;)

Cheers

Mark,

I second Kevin's compliments, and if you'd like to include those three Coastal Command stations, I'd be glad to provide them. The Heinkel He115 looks amazing; I used the Payakan version so I could release Operation Leader. But since your model conversion looks so amazing, I'll do a Leader update upon release, and maybe include a new mission for it.

And of course, the Halibag and Sunderland look incredible; keep up the great work, buddy! :ernaehrung004:

Oh great news about some Coastal Command bases! Yes please!

The Sundy first, then the Hali and the He115 will be coming along as and when.

Cheers

I am working on Speke Hall.

I used Autocad2017 to create a solid model saved as STL then to 3ds and imported into GMAX.

Textures are being created with Autocad and Gimp.
