Ted, how detailed do you need the drawings.

Also this musuem link has a cut away model with good panel photos and other detail.

Hey Nacht,

From that book website I told you about through O-1, you can download "In Detail & Scale No. 99 PBY Catalina" and "Squadron-Signal Publications No.62 PBY Catalina in Action".

I don't if you already got those but they give good overall dimensions and more importantly, a good view inside the beast. If you can't find them, let me know and I 'll see what I can do!

That's the one... :)

BTW, how's your Polish? Just came across a book on German nightfighters (at least, I think it was - my Polish is non-existent). They do have an awful lot of books in Polish over there. Are the Poles so into aviation or would it have something to do with the site being based in Russia (I think)....?

And those aspiring a career in aircraft modelling, get those two books "The Best of Wylam 1 & 2". GREAT (and I do mean GREAT!!!) scale drawings with measurements and sections of fuselages and wings of some well-known aircraft, engines and even bombs... GET IT!! (you can start off with the Wright flyer... :d (I would - or wait, no, I think I 'll do the Lewis gun first and turn CFS3 into an AA sim...)

I can help somewhat with the Polish. You can also look up DJWaglik, he is a SOH member. He can translate more technical information. Unfortunately I'm a Polish Hillbilly from the Carpathian mountains so my Polish is more dialectic and limited due to 28 years here in the states though, I speak primarily Polish with the wife and kids. Drop me a PM if you need anything.

Cheers,

John
