I don't know if this is old news or not, but received this e-mail from FSD...

Based on feedback we are getting from you, our values customers, FSD has decided to continue to support FS 2004 on its upcoming releases. This means the Jetstar, the MU 2, and version 3 of the Navajo and Seneca V will be produced using two separate models. One built for FS 2004, and one custom built for FS X SP2 with full Direct X 10 capabilitiy.
The visual models and their corresponding virtual cockpits will be two completely separate entities, while the 2D panel and gauge packs will be shared. All of the advanced avionics for the FS X model will also be available in the FS 2004 version. We invite you to visit our Upcoming Releases (http://www.fsd-international.com/projects/upcoming_releases.htm) page for more details.

Funny how a little thing like an entire MS division layoff... makes FS9 look lucrative again. :mixedsmi:

That's good news, especially as many (like me) are not using FSX.
