Great work Ed. I didn't even know you had made that many small airfields already. Downloaded them all. Thanks!

if you are looking for somewhere interesting, try Alaska. some great strips in the south central area and many simmers would be very happy to have really nice bush flying scenery that is freeware. Thanks for making all of this scenery for the community:jump:

Ed,

These are my favorite kinds of fields to fly in and out of, and yours are simply stunning! After flying into Wiscasset on Sunday, I was ready to move into that residence (with the awesome shop) at the north end of the runway. It all felt so real.

Thank you again for all of your work on these and for the generous gifts you've given us all!! :applause::encouragement::applause:

Best,
Michael

Makes me wish I used that area in FSX more often!

Question though, to pick your brain. FSX has put trees on the approach to KEET. Is there a fix for that, or am I forever doomed to fly through trees to make it to 16? I don't even know enough about scenery to be dangerous.
Thanks.

Sometimes that can be remedied by adjusting your autogen density sliders up or down and noting the changes. Not always of course and if that doesn't work you can usually make a small exclude that's tagged to remove certain types of autogen. However for that you would need at least a working knowledge of ADE (Freeware airport design program).

Brian Gladden? Haven't seen you here in ages! Stay in flightsim long enough and I've found I start to run into people from a long long time ago hehe

I did check my KEET to see what I show there. Problem is that I run full Orbx and so unless you have the same (and even then it isn't assured that we would both see the same) we will probably not see the same problem. I did have one large (tall) tree right in line with the runway but it was far enough back to allow for an easy approach. . .just stay high till I clear it and then drop in.

I don't run Orbx, and that would make sense. Thank you for looking into it though. Sorry I didn't comment a couple days ago, but, we kinda have a pipeline spill here and I have had to pick up a couple OT shifts.
I do want to learn about scenery and such, but, I want to learn how to do repaints first. Yes, I know about the YouTube vids, but haven't had time to look at them lol.

Thanks again!

Yea, that beats the 2 months or longer it used to take. I haven't kept up with the P3D upgrades, got tired of constantly changing things so I wasn't aware they had done that many since my current V3.3.5.
