SgtT started a thread Saab J-21R in FSX General Discussion
Hello everyone, Does anyone know if there is a Saab J-21R that is available for FSX and would also work in P3Dv4? I love the prop variant but the J-21R is the jet powered version. Thanks, Rob

My dream would be that this be brought over to DCS as a multicrew aircraft capable of bombing, air refuelling etc, but I think it'll stay a dream :ernaehrung004: I can't help it but to use the scramble starter that starts all engines and then shut them down and repeat - the soundset is so good!! Worth noting that the RAF fleet only had about 4 minutes notice of an incoming nuclear attack in order to get airborne hence the need to start all engines simultaneously.

Gavin, Thank you for taking the time to look at the Alphasim model. I ended up getting the Area51 C-5 and for the most part like it. Blaunarwal, Would you mind sharing your mods?

Thanks a lot for this Milviz Phantom galore, Ken ! :encouragement: It *does* look fantastic indeed. I was hoping you'd post some cockpit screenies and, like the external model, the VC does look particularly wonderful as well. I never had th Milviz Phantom in FSX/P3D. I don't know why, probabely released when MSFS was already a significant blip on the radar ?... I did have a special 'relation' with it because during 1969-1978 period the USAF 32 Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Wolfhounds' was based at Soesterberg, The Netherlands. About a half hour drive from my home. The F-4E Phantoms at Soesterberg were the first to be based in Europe. I went to see them many times, it was a sight and sound to behold ! Eventually the Phantoms were replaced by the F-15. I'd love to have the Milviz...

Kurt, You got me! TBH, I took a few liberties with the textures. The original had a sturdy wooden clapperboard exterior, but I thought it looked bland & somehow "wrong", with the ornate windows & doors, so gave it a stonework appearance instead... :beaten:

The best option today is probably the Area51 Sim variant then. I could even pimp the very dark cockpit a bit and also modified loading in the aircraft.cfg. If there are people interested, I can share my mod. https://www.pcaviator.com/store/product.php?productid=18445

Hi Dombral Great paintwork, as usual.:applause::applause::applause: It looks like the version of Yamashiro you have used is 1.0. This was not the best as the 'pagoda' bridge was too big. I corrected the problem in version 2.0. Cheers Stuart

Having now spent the entire weekend flying and "photographing" Milviz Phantoms (converted remember - not native MSFS), I think I better forget MSFS for a week and get back to real life! In the meantime, for your viewing pleasure, I present a screenshot ensemble of British and German Phantoms. The RAF aircraft are from the F-4J download, the Luftwaffe machines are from the F-4E download. (Link a few posts up from here). The VC's have no click spots, but most of the basic instruments function with a few exceptions. They look great though, and I enjoyed hand-flying them for two entire days. Many more liveries, but I think I am Phinally Phantom Phatigued!!!!!! - Kenneth The British...

The attached text file is just a warm-up to a possible fly-in to Reklaw at some point in the future. Read at your leisure and see if you'd be interested in participating.

Ah, okay, guessing whoever runs the Iris site didn’t take into account that people outside of .au would likely assume it was USD. $34 Australian is $23 US, which is a lot more reasonable. But when I went through the checkout process, there was zero indication it was AUD all the way to the PayPal link.

You won't be disappointed. Oh, and I received my "off-brand" head band and face cushion (silicone) today. Total price was around $40 USD and worth every penny. Much, MUCH more comfortable!!!!
