Something I never thought I would see in a flight sim. Flying north near Stavanger I saw a double rainbow. Amazing Sadly I didn't get a good screenshot before it faded away.

Ralf, the door is fixed with v1.1. Same wifh HB-IBJ. Lufthansa didn´t use tiptanks since 1958. But I did ones but only with markings on the outer sides. As I have slowly repaired and rebuilt my gaming tower I am finding bits and pieces of research material which someone in the future may be interested in using to work on Rising Sun. The following is a folder for the PNG area and includes airdromes in New Guinea and Seven Miles airfield in Northern Australia. It would be good if someday someone would split up the theaters and republish some of the theaters as individual standalones. In the end I was never happy with the difficulty encountered installing and running the total Rising Sun theater by the community.

They look fine, Jan Kees ! As far as i can see these are probabely not much help but the're the best i could find atm : What is a little bit worrying is that Rob's Dove/Devon shown here in the screenshots is a DH.104-1 to possibly -v6. It is in any case not the -v7 or 8 with more powerful engines (check out the airscoop and streamlined exhaust) and raised cockpit height...

Hi Thomas, thanks for the updated repaints. I noticed a problem with the front door on the right side of the fuselage on the 1956 livery. In the long nose liveries everything is ok. Paul

I just wished he would fix the cockpit windows in the external model. I just can’t look at her and not see that it is all wrong. The lower cowls or oil cooler intakes are also not correct but they are not so prominent I guess. The rest is really coming along and there are some features I do think the Redwing Connie is doing really well. Cheers Stefan

Ralf, in my repaints, there is no need to add generally PAINT_WINGTIP_RIGHT_COMP.png. Most of the new repaints are for MATS model due to the gray cockpit. There is a COMP`inside and I linked it via texture.cfg. So I saved a lot of textures. Do you have problems with displaying tip tanks? Perhaps I made a mistake. I hope you have deleted my older repaints. They are not working anymore. Thomas

I think you might like this... This is a "Ghost in the Machine" repaint of the ETO AvHistory Yak-9 as plane #14 flown by Frenchman Marcel Lefèvre. In May 1944, returning from a mission over Vitebsk, Marcel Lefèvre’s Yak-9 hemorrhaged fuel and burst into flames a few feet off the ground; he died in a Moscow hospital a month later. (He survives in spirit as a host figure at the Normandie regiment museum in his home town, Les Andelys.)
