I love EA and thanks for the insight. I love how it replicates the blue rayleigh scattering of distant terrain, however I've noticed much reduced visibility with the 5.1 update, and 5.2 didn't change that. I'm a keen observer of atmospherics, and this seems a bit overdone and not what I've seen in the past.

Beautiful screens in here guys. I feel like MSFS has just got a big piece of what was missing with this addon. Took her from Lelystadt for a few passes over the Eau Rouge at the Spa Francorchamps race track and finally to Aachen Mastricht which is the closest airport to my real place where she can fit (except for Geilenkirchen AB). I understand the Localizer option of the Gyropilot now, still have issues with the speed governors. Well, glad to still have things to wonder about.

It's Father's Day, so I'm going to pull out my Dad's old RCAF log books and duplicate a flight he took in the North Star ( DC-6) in 1952 up to Frobisher Bay to service an injured Lancaster. Happy Father's Day dads!

Many thanks MK, just tried it out, and yes like it! Worthless, You do realise that you could just remove (and keep safe) or rename the raindrop sound effect, and hey-presto, no annoying buzzing sound. So you have the great visual rain effect and no noise, which is more realistic really, as you wouldn't hear the rain hitting the ac with a headset on and dirty great engine(s) thrashing away. Cheers Shessi p.s Oh MK I've got a surprise for you...;)

Thanks MK.The visual is great, but I've had to go without rain from the beginning. The sound doesn't work for me. Never has. I've checked the sound files and there is nothing wrong with those. Sound is just as it should be. But, for some reason, in the game it just sounds like a continuous buzzing, not the splatter of rain drops. It's the same in all my installs. Very distracting. So, I've just had to do without. Not a big problem.

Given the number of repaints, both skins and cockpits, for the DCS \ LOMAC Flanker, has anyone had success porting these over for use with the Bear Studios Flanker..? I read somewhere that the Flanker models were the same and I don't have DCS to compare. Tanks..

Yeah I just grabbed that VFR region 2 as well... wonder if there's a way to have the two projects coincide? Probably need excludes from the MN scenery. Not sure if he'll want to do that maybe I'll email him anyway.

I was flying this thing in/around a thunderstorm today, and it felt like trying to control a barge in rough seas. I just love the way it 'feels' in the air - it seems very natural/realistic to how it should feel with amount of surface area and weight. I was almost blown into the side of a mountain, which was a bit scary too - it takes quite a bit of airspace to get this thing turned around.

Thank you for the heads-up on the Clermont County Airport scenery, Ryan! I have a friend that flies that Mustang and the TBM Avenger based there with the Tri-State Warbird Museum. Their FG-1D Corsair restoration project is also what I sent Milviz 60+ photos of to model their FG-1D cockpit from, several years back. Looking forward to doing some flying, there! I also just spotted this released today, Region 2 (North and South America) of the "We Love VFR" addon series, which adds nearly 200,000 of the missing tv and radio antennas, smoke stacks, radar domes, construction cranes and satellite/radio telescope dishes across the region. (Unfortunately, it of course conflicts with the "Minnesota Towers" addon from Fly Minnesota, as it doubles up the majority of the radio antennas)...

Is this a project you're working on?!? We have a Super Petrel at the airport I work at (KFCM shown in the sunset shows with the Citation a few posts above). It's very slow haha but the pilot is very kind and great to work with.
