The pre-season testing has started again. And again a lot of assumptions, rumours and other blahblah. But as usual the pre-season testing doesn't tell us anything, because most of the teams don't show the real potential of their cars yet. Cheers, Huub

It was Ramiís Finland campaigns that got me involved in CFS2, so I would definitely love to have a Finland version if you could do that, please. Would I be right in thinking that it would be a G.50 rather than a G.50 bis from your comments ? Thanks for your offer, Captain. :encouragement:

After all of these years of playing CFS2, something that I just noticed: The AI when piloting a TBD-1 Devastator won't shoot the tail gunner at me. If I'm in front of them, their front guns shoot at my aircraft. But, if I'm tailing them, they don't fire at me at all. I tried it in Quick Combat (me in a Zero, behind 8 TBD-1 Devastators), as well as an AI anti-ship mission (with enemy TBD-1 Devastators bombing a carrier), but had the same results. BTW, I have a separate converted AI TBD-1 Devastator that is player flyable, and it indeed has a shootable tail gun that I can shoot, so I know that the stock aircraft has a tail gun. Is this a bug that I've never noticed in the game before, or am I missing something here?

No, it's a port over from FSX of the FR B-24, which will not be distributed. But it shows how great she looks in MFS, right? I'll post the odd shots here and there to wet your appetites. I do hope Mike gets round to bringing it to MFS, but then there's the Spit Mk.V and the Seafire, and the DC-4, and the Halifax...

Actually Carver did not invent peanut butter, it was already invented as a food for diabetics and other medical conditions prior to his publications on peanuts.

Hi Guys, The Finnish versions were an earlier model and in some cases a mishmash with some parts from the earliest full canopy models (which I am still modeling for Huub). Slightly different cowl, rudder, spinner etc. If there is some interest in the Finland versions I can put one together. It would be a specific model as there wasn't a lot of homogeneity among the 35 that went to Finland, especially after maintenance rebuilds were done.

Whoah, Jan Kees... A B-24? Is that the Flight Replicas Liberator ported over? (Or even better, is FR letting you test/paint the MSFS native version? :-) ) I applaud your efforts! I know there a whole bunch of us who would love to fly it someday.

It's not connected to the internet.. it's just 2 win xp computers connected to each other with a cat5 cable. Tcp/ip. Last night I downloaded a couple ww1 planes to my phone.. today I used a usb card reader to transfer the plane files from my phones microbsd card to the win xp computer.. and then I unzipped them. So now all I need to know is how do I get them into the cfs2 a planes folder.? Tomorrow is Saturday and I'll have some time to try and figure it out.. but it woukd be nice to know ahead of time what steps I'll need to take to get the planes into cfs2. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated.. thx

Thanks Bob! :ernaehrung004: That goes into it further. I think I'll patch it into the Panels SDK for future reference.

If you ever get it working, just for fun, I cobbled together a splash screen for it if you like. Note: As always, I'm just pulling stuff willy-nilly from all over the web when I do this. I can't imagine anyone getting worked up if an image of theirs is used in a splash screen for a 20+ year old sim where no one involved is making any money!
