    Having given up on the JF BAC 1-11 (Flight Pitch Stability/performance/lighting bugs) and obviously no fixes or updates to again be provided. I had given up on the Dave Maltby's original BAC 1-11 because of it not having an interior model and not updated to FSX Native. A friend on another site prompted me to have another look at the BAC 1-11 again decided the JF version was a mess and not worth pursuing again! Doing searches etc I came across an FSX Native version that was done by Bjoern (somehow I had overlooked this or missed it). Summary Bjoern did a great job converting it all to FSX Native and then updating all the gauges systems etc. End result the internal textures may seem a little dated but they are still not bad but this was without a doubt a very finely done rendition of the...

    OK I've had a closer look. I think that the ground plane can be expanded a little without the effects being too obvious. When you expand by 200 or 250 (eg I took the single_2 groundplane out by 250 each dimension) then the changes start to look obvious. As Gecko says, the airfield layout texture and the actual vehicle pathways do not match and other facilities don't sit where planned for in the texture. The advantage of increasing the groundplane by 100 or 150, is that when there are four aircraft sitting on the runway waiting to take off, they do not straggle back onto the nearby paddock, they stay on the area textured as runway.     This sounds pretty plausible, however I haven't noticed as yet. Will need to test more. I should mention that the increase is not very big, going from say 1400 1400 to 1600 1600.

    Sent in a couple issues, namely fuel only pulling from the left tank and some minor modeling issues, but otherwise this is a good addon. Sounds great, a lot of fun to fly!

    I really enjoy this type of aviating while looking for interesting things on the ground. While setting up to land at Concrete Mun (3W5) in Washington State, USA I noticed a shore line anomaly as seen here. Could some one advise me on the correct Nam bgl that controls this area? Thanks. Steve

    The weekend is safe:applause: One of the first - if not the first - addon I ever purchased for flightsim, that is FS2000 and it came in a box on CD, was this: Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and it off course featured the Chipmunk. Ever since that day this aircraft is high on my list. Great to have it back in MSFS quality!!! Alex

    Andrew IIRC Baldy fudged this on the Me323 by tagging engines 5 & 6 as though they were duplicates of engines 3 & 4. The airfile had the thrust position midway between each pair, & the engines were sized to give the total thrust required (from 4 instead of 6). So long as you're just using it as a target, it doesn't really ruin the experience :costumed-smiley-034
