If you are looking for Warbirds sounds try checking over in the CFS2 library. There are many custom soundpacks over there for things like Spitfires, P-51s, Corsairs etc. No reason why you can't use them as AI sounds. Gavin

This lasted from May 3-May 8,1942. May 3,1942-The Japanese occupy Tulagi. May 4,1942-Admiral Fletcher has the USS Yorktown attack Japanese forces at Tulagi sinking a Destroyer,3 Minesweepers, barges and destroying several float planes. May 5 and 6 1942-not much action as the IJN passes the Northern Solomon Islands and Fletcher refuels his Task force. May 7,1942-Japanese search planes mistake Neosho and Sims for aircraft carriers and send a full attack sinking Sims and disabling Neosho.Neosho was later scuttled.

Down to checking each of the liveries, gathering the gauges and effects that will go with them, double checking the readme to be sure credits and info have been updated and adding a few decals to the Red Arrow livery I missed. I hope that by tomorrow evening I can have it uploaded to the SOH Warbirds Library.

Rivet counter' repaint. Basic factory fresh waiting on unit markings. Still some to do, like add the metal edges to V and H tails, have to re-do the bumps (again!) because I keep finding stuff in new photos I missed, but finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! F9F_1 F9F_2 F9F_3 F9F_4

OK a couple of simple batch files. Change the directory to whatever you use and also the install name. del /s "C:\CFS3 (whatever)\aircraft\*.bdp" or specify which folder you want instead of "aircraft" or del /s "C:\CFS3 (whatever)\*.bdp" Save as bdpzapper aircraft.bat or bdpzapper all.bat or whatever. Put in the uinstall with a shortcut to your desktop of shortcut folder.

Knowing well the efforts you made to make water puddles and wet effects in P3D, in MSFS Asobo have these ready. The default materials have them included and for custom ground poly (projected meshes in MSFS lingo) materials, one can define the surface as concrete, asphalt. paint etc and the rain effects will apply. The downside is that no matter what normal map one makes for the material the Asobo material will overlay and will prevail. This reduces the clarity of details included in the textures like cracks in custom asphalt etc.

I did give this a try and most of it works, however the coolest thing about the livery is how they painted the slipper tanks to look like Gattling Guns, lol. . . .but because of the way those tanks are mapped I was only able to get two ports on top, two on the bottom and none to fill in the spot on either side. . .too bad cause it would have looked great.

Richard, the rain shots are reference shots again - rarely seen shots close to reality like those!
