AT-802 Agricultural variants have been uploaded here on SOH and elsewhere. Both for FSX and P3D. The project was heavily delayed as my PC died in the early part of March. It's taken me a bit to replace it and recover most things from the old PC and move them to this new one. Not everything was saved. But a good portion of it was luckily. Development resumed again the first week of April. Now that the 802s are out in the world. I have gone back to updating firefighting aircraft. And that next project as presented previously is an update and expansion of Jagl04's fantastic mod for the Cera Sim UH-60L Blackhawk. With his permission I've created several new models that now exist as "Firehawks." The Firehawk designation is uniquely tradmarked by United Rotorcraft for their modification kit...

Javis replied to a thread OV-10 Bronco Released. in MSFS (FS2020)
Both Jon Beckett and real AV-10 Bronco pilot and beta tester Russ Barlow are 'massively impressed' : ( edited because i finally wanted to find out how to embed a video in my post like in Paul's post above instead of just the link. As you can see it took me an hour... ;) ) Haven't got it yet but i certainly will. It has to be the very best turboprop model inside and out for me to tolerate the excruciating sound of a turboprop whine. This model seems to be just that !

The revised png theater is 1792km. I was going on the scratchpad.xls calcs. I know the srtm 30x30 .bil file had 17920 columns and rows which gave the 70 70 as the last 2 numbers in the ers2tiff command line. With the 1792 number I divided by 256 to get the 7 7 numbers, with 7 x 7 tiff files. We will see when I get the mesh into the theater. I did try to run the command lines that you typed and received out of bounds error with the ers2tiff.

I could be a really long shot but maybe we could ask in the other fourms and ask if some has access to BetaArchive DLs or maybe knows some one that dose?

then I assume I am not understanding CFS3 terrain math. My thinking is 1792*1024*1=1835008 . 1835008/256=7168

I REALLY WISH that someone had access to that BetaArchive site. Really drives me NUTZ that you have to jump through numerous hoops and do a bunch of voodoo rituals to simply download a single file from them <aarrgghh>. With all of the TONS of stuff over at , the guy SHOULD have uploaded it THERE (which is what that *I* would have done). HELL, I'd even PAY him for download link (after all, I WOULD have bought that one from EBay if I would have stumbled on the listing in time).

Thanks Steve for helping me out of this predicament. You nudged me in the right direction. Presently running ers2tiff *.ers S7.53375 E149.9688 1792 1024 4441 png -917504 -917504 7 7 Processed through the night and most of this day, had to stop; before completing as I realized that my command line had capital png and my theater is set up with lower case. Also note that the theater needs to be divided by 256 so that the last 2 integers have to be 7 in this theater. Thanks again. Bob

Surprise Finds (from the 'Good Old Days')? That's not quite what I envisaged with my original post!! :banghead: An interesting tip, but lets get back to topic with some more surprise finds? Do you remember, from the FS2002 days, the GMAX Red Arrows, that, by hitting the spoiler key, could change the formation of the aircraft? There was a mod to make it work in FS2004. You would select a Red Arrow aircraft that displayed as a 4 man flight, & the formation could change by hitting the spoiler key, so it looked as if you were flying four planes. There was a fixed 9 plane formation as well, and we had a lot of fun at our VA meetings by about six of us flying in formation.

I've been playing around with the IRIS F-14 Tomcat. :adoration: There are some really great re-paints out there. In particular are the repaint "packages" that were done by Scott Minty for FSX. Scott did some outstanding texture work that includes detailed pilot uniforms and squadron-specific custom helmet logos. He also included custom call signs you can import into Editvoicepack. The ONE thing you'll need to do if you want to see his work in FS9 IS CONVERT THE DXT5 BMPs INTO DXT3 format. If you don't convert these files, FS9 will lock up if you try to load the plane. :dizzy:

Thank you for the update Rob! I haven't found the changelog. Are Milan's avionics fixes built into this, or do we still need his addon? August
