    Good to know as I figure the sim out. Already had the "insert game disc 1" issue the very next day after flying fine on day 1. Ran through everything in on the Zendesk page to get going again. I feel like I have limited control going through the "Community" folder like adding/removing liveries and such. Years of being used to FS/P3D I guess.

    Now, with respect to MSFS updates...... I read in another thread that before running any updates, rename the Community folder to something else (or add a description like 'old'). Run the update, the open MSFS as if to do a flight, close MSFS, go to look for the update-created 'new' folder called 'Community', then delete this one and rename your original 'Community' folder back to same name. Apparently this eliminates update issues which may pertain to addons and prevent MSFS from updating successfully. Still, however, I think you would have to launch each addon after a successful MSFS update if truly want to find out they are all compatible with the update, as I don't think MSFS will tell you on it's own that addons X, Y, Z ,,,, etc are not compatible with the latest MSFS...

    This is a good point, Denny. The MSFS app can be easily moved to another drive down the road, anyway. I think then having both the app and the 'rest' (in a custom folder) on a separate, dedicated drive is probably best, just in case C drive fails.

    Yes. Too many threads exist about MSFS addons and various issues, .... but very few threads exist regarding "How to install MSFS2020 from the MS Store 'the way which will minimize issues down the road' " on a W10 computer. Right ?

Must use Ankors Shaders and sdsbolt app as seen in http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/123237-Release-of-sdsbolt-s-radar-plus-app-More-than-meets-the-eye A new beta version will be provided. 2. Must like night flying bombers and Night fighters. 3. Must also check out the accompanying mission readmes. This is still a beta version install but good enough for serious mission testing.     Well so far no result. Another point that I have just thought of, is, that one also needs lights on the home base for take off, so if the spawn doesn't work, then it's not a good idea to start with!:pop4::dizzy:

    It seems like I remember that someone in the know stated that Asobo is looking at a zoom slider for VR. I don't fly with the goggles, so I didn't really pay attention.

    I think the scale of things you see in VR might be depending on your adjustment of the distance between your eyes (pupils ? I forgot the technical name). Not sure anymore if this is true... In any case, if something feels out of scale in VR, chances are it IS actually out of scale. I remember quite a few cockpits in P3D were out of scale, simply due to bad modeling. One helicopter from Virtavia for example, had a cockpit that was almost as large as a 737 cockpit :D This wasn't really a problem before, but VR kind of "revealed" it. To me, this "world scale adjustment" thing sound like some workaround that shouldn't really exist, in my opinion.

    Difficult to make out what's going on there with struts/windows on the upper fuselage. They also appear to be using a sealion as a wheel chock.......fellow in the shirt and tie is about to investgate and run straight into the prop...

    I don't mean to rain on your parade, but Win10 used to do that for me when it was new and shiny: many updates later it's more than a little tardy. All recent MS operating systems have done that Win7, Win8, Win10 fast boot to begin with but increasingly slow as time and updates go by. I have no axe to grind, just sayin'.
