Great pics Denny! I love that snowy one... is that an airport in Iceland? I did a few color swaps/new liveries already! Some of the default ones are great but I wanted some other colors... A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military skins - General Description: PLATINUM WINGS FOR FS2004 ========================= Another file for your enjoyment in the Platinum Wings series of files for FS2004. This time it's Paul Clawson's F4B-4 dressed up as a P-12E of the 6th Pursuit Squadron while they were stationed at Luke Field, Ford Island, Territory of Hawaii about 1935 or so. Unfortunately the mapping of the cowling prevents the "scalloping" of the red stripe there. At least it's done on the fuselage as best I can, so it works. Paint is based on the aircraft in the collection of the United States Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Asobo/Carenado released the latest "Famous Flyer" entry today, the Beechcraft V35 Bonanza. It's typical Carenado: Looks fantastic, flight model feels convincing, enough detail to feel like you're flying the plane and the only people likely to be disappointed are the folks who think playing with fuses is fun. :)

Shadow thanks so much. i am really putting a major effort for CFS 2. Also i am trying to get back to some CFS 1 gaming. Right now things are going better than expected for CFS 2 and am loving it!! I have CFS 2 on a win 10 machine and i have a Cyborg (Saitek) 30 Gold joystick and it works like a charm for all CFS 2 actions. Also i have some other Flight Sims and it works well for them. The irritant is the joystick does work not for CFS 1 at all. I had games ,CFS 1 and CFS 2, years ago and never had any joystick issues. It must be resident in CFS 1. Can you suggest a work around?? On a related note i am traveling to Yorktown VA on Sunday Sept 28th. My college roommate is undergoing chemo treatments and he is not allowed to drive or be alone. He is alone and i have agreed to...

John, first of all, welcome aboard! :wavey: There are many Pacific (PTP) missions and campaigns to choose from. Many use a mix of stock and downloaded aircraft, ships, objects and scenery. You will have many hours of enjoyment with them. As Rami said, if you have any questions don't be afraid to post them, you will get answers fairly quickly.

Thanks, Had some Sketchup problems this morning that gave me fits but I was able to get past those and now I'm into "populating" the airfield with some "clutter and humans". Coming along pretty well.

Hello, everyone. I've had many folks ask about how PW looks, so here's only a few screens. It's basically GW3 with some changes done by following a youtube video on how to get FS9 to look great. It's from 2019. You first install FS9, then GW3, then all the files in the video in the order the narrator says. Once you finish that part, you then move several bgl's out of the way. Most of them are in the main scenery folders (NAME, SAME, EURE, EURW, etc) to a backup folder so they are not active. These would be the "AB," "AP," "AT," "NV," and most of the "OB" bgl files. Exception to the last is NYC, which Bernard discovered not long ago. Thanks Bernard! After all that's done, you add airports, navaids, etc, to your hearts content and taste in the Addon Scenery folder. One...
