Ouch, I think this is one of the worst nightmares from most of use here. Over the years we all must have a big collection of models not longer available, unfinished prototypes of models which are irreplaceable, long disappeared scenery, unique repaints, etc. Try to look at it form the bright side. Like most of us you must also have though: "I really should clean this install a bit". And most of us here have quite a backup with older or rare models, so hopefully most of what has be stolen can be replaced. And all is relative as I personally worry more about your leg. Take care, Huub

Hi Robin I suppose in common with many others on here, I have 20 odd years of downloads stored on external drives so, if I can help with restoring your FS installs just shout out. Very best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. David

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Civilian aircraft Description: This package contains modified models of the freeware released Aeroplane Heaven B-17s and modified with their permission to create a number of civilianized firefighting B-17 models. The B-17s served from the 1960s until the 1980s and flew with a number of operators and tank designs. Ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 gallon retardant tanks. Most of the B-17s flying today were firebombers at some point in the not so distant past. The B-17s like many other converted aerial firefighting aircraft served longer as firebombers and some several decades longer than they did in their past military bomber/transport configurations. Proving to be a very underappreciated and underrepresented large...

It never rains but it pours... A few days ago, my laptop & 5 portable drives in a backpack, was stolen out of a friend of mines car. She was keeping it for me whilst I'm in hospital. 6 installs of FS2004 & years of collecting planes & scenery (some stuff from sites that have long disappeared. Oh well.. I'll have to start all over again.

was a Lockheed Electra 12A - and I think someone has done one for the AH L10 version for MSFS already ? I could be wrong. Of course GAS had a very nice Electra 12A for FSX as you know very well here are all the planes shown in that film - per IMDB's database.. it shows the 12A and includes the registration number and a spiffy nose art logo too Casablanca - The Internet Movie Plane Database ( ..maybe someone could do the Fokker paint too..

Work slowly progressing to make this a not unreasonable flying experience in P3D. The VC is a challenge but coming along. Starting to get that 707 look and feel. Flight performance is excellent.

They did build them to 70, but they were not this model. I wish they would build the "newer" models, the E18s, G18s, high cabin / low cabin. Many variations than the plain Jane D18. Then we can talk Volpar. :) Don BP;)

Further testing in missions revealed that:- -The Halifaxes never stick, while the Manchesters really are the worse. - If one changes the fuel load in one mission, that seesm to carry over to other missions; at with me. Important to know. QC testing revealed that the weight shown before I mess with the fuel %age is lower than after I change that. see before and after pics. actually the same in missions Before

Further testing indicates that, with current specs, I have to reduce the weight to around 55000 lbs. Even >= 60K is not working with me. WRT to Woodhall Spa staring position, yes it is to the right of the runway, but still on it OK. I suppose we could look into that. If we get the issue solved so that -take off is OK at 65K -weapon and fuel loads are adjusted to fit that then I will re upload the aircraft with changes. Meanwhile, I will see if I can temporarily have those missions start in the air; one can still land, which is in any case more difficult!

First of all, copy/paste a fresh stock install, then you can add anything you want. As a starting point for WW2/ETO and WW2/MTO, here are Rami's guides on how to get the proper sceneries: > ETO installation guide: > MTO installation guide: Then, add any aircraft/airfields/campaigns you want. For WW2/PTO, you can either keep stock sceneries, or use this guide to install newer meshes and sceneries: > Note that a lot of older stuff (sceneries and campaigns) will not work with the newer PTO sceneries.
